Baxter Healthcare Malaysia makes a difference to the lives of patients suffering from end stage renal failure, and who were on peritoneal dialysis. For instance, the company organized an inaugural Dreamcatcher competition in November 2007, an event that enabled these patients to fulfill their deepest aspirations and achieve their true potential despite their disease. Prize money was in the end given out to four patients.
