Baxter first launched its Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) products in Thailand through a distributor in 1986. A Representative Office was then established in Bangkok in 1992. Presently, Baxter Healthcare Thailand is the market leader in many fields like Renal PD, Hemophilia and Electronic Infusion Systems, and has direct sales forces covering many local hospitals. From 2004 to 2006, Baxter Healthcare Thailand grew more than twice the average industry growth rate. It is also a member of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PReMA) and the Thailand Medical Devices Association (THAIMED).
