Singapore is the HQ for South East Asia Regional Management team. The Singapore sales office first started in 1978 with 12 employees and has grown to over 80 employees by end of 2008. The business in Singapore includes Renal, Medication Delivery and Biosciences, with market leadership positions in Peritoneal Dialysis, Anesthesia, Infusion Systems and Parenteral Nutrition. The Brunei business is managed from Singapore and focused on the Renal and Medication Delivery product lines.
The Woodlands facility in Singapore has been in operation since 1978. The facility now comprises of three operations under one roof producing Electronic Infusion Pumps, MD Sets, Renal Sets and Solutions. Volumes manufactured exceed fifty thousand pumps, sixty million administration sets and twelve million solution bags annually which are sold in more than thirty countries. It is the only manufacturing site within Baxter that houses wet, dry and hardware operations.
